Gem Space now supports Webinar Mode — a dedicated broadcast format built for presentations, training sessions, lectures, and live events of any scale.
Getting started
Go to the Calls section, create a new call, add a meeting title, and enable Webinar Mode. Gem Space will automatically generate a shareable link for your participants. Anyone with the link can join in listen-only mode, while you stay in full control of the broadcast.
Managing your audience
Webinar settings give you complete control over participant roles. You can assign new speakers, remove speaker permissions, enable a waiting room so participants need your approval to join, and manage everyone in the session from a single permissions panel.
During the session
Once the webinar is live, you can share your screen, start recording, apply a background, invite additional people, and copy the call link at any time. All controls are accessible directly from the call interface without interrupting the broadcast.
Whether you are running a business presentation, a community event, or a training session for hundreds of people — Webinar Mode in Gem Space gives you the tools to do it properly, inside one app.

In the GemSpace Super App, all of this comes with no time limits (unlike Zoom’s 40 minutes), supports up to 1,000 people in a webinar room, and is completely free (unlike all those paid webinar rooms).
Although this is just one piece of our ecosystem’s puzzle, let me share the revenue figures for this niche in 2025.

Webinar Market 2026: Actual 2025 Results and Forecasts for 2026
Note: As of June 2026, only five months of the year have passed. No full‑year financial reports for 2026 exist yet. This article combines verified 2025 data with 2026 projections from leading research firms.
1. Actual 2025 Market Size (Specialized Webinar Software)
According to Verified Market Reports and Data Insights Market, the global market for dedicated webinar platforms (software designed specifically for webinars, not general video conferencing) stood at:
- $4.0–4.3 billion in 2025.
This segment excludes all‑purpose meeting tools (Zoom, Teams) and focuses on platforms like ON24, Adobe Connect, Demio, and others.
Adjacent segments (actual 2025 data):
- Virtual event platforms (including conferences and hybrid events): $13.54 billion (source: Grand View Research / industry trackers).
- Web conferencing (video conferencing): estimated at $30–40 billion (Cisco, Microsoft, and Zoom combined).
2. Market Forecasts for 2026 (Full‑Year Projections)
Based on pre‑2026 growth rates (9–12% CAGR for webinar software), analysts expect:
- Specialized webinar software: $4.5–5.0 billion (growth of ~10%).
- Virtual event platforms: $14.75 billion (9.54% CAGR).
- Web conferencing (total market): approximately $45 billion (~13% CAGR).
All forecasts are extrapolations from 2025 data; actual 2026 results will be published in early 2027.
3. Key Market Players – 2025 Market Share (Specialized Webinar Platforms)
Data from 6sense (as of late 2025 / early 2026) shows the following shares among companies offering dedicated webinar and webcast solutions:
- Adobe Connect: 40.24% market share (12,340 customers)
- ON24 Webcast Elite: 17.61% (5,401 customers)
- Webex Events (Cisco): 8.42% (2,583 customers)
- Demio: 5.92% (1,817 customers)
- BrightTALK: 5.61% (1,721 customers)
- Zoom Webinar: 2.62% (802 customers) – ranks 9th in this niche
Notes on giants outside this niche:
- Zoom Video Communications (the entire company) reported quarterly revenue of $1.24 billion for Q4 2025, with full‑year 2025 revenue estimated at approximately $5 billion (mostly from Zoom Meetings, not just the Webinar add‑on).
- Microsoft Teams generated over $8 billion in 2025 (integrated into Microsoft 365).
4. Summary
· Actual 2025 data – specialized webinar software: roughly $4.0–4.3 billion.
· 2026 forecast – the same segment: roughly $4.5–5.0 billion (if growth holds).
· The overall video conferencing market (Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco Webex, and others) has a potential in the tens of billions of dollars, far exceeding the specialized webinar platform niche.
