Friends, we’ve updated Gem Space and would like to briefly share what’s new. We’ve made the service more convenient, stable, and easy to use for everyday communication.
iOS
In the iPhone version, we simplified communication and improved the reliability of messages and calls.
What’s more convenient:
- You can now add people to contacts directly from their profile or chat.
- A privacy settings tip explains why you might not appear in others’ contacts and where to change this.
- Faster user search is now available in contacts.
What we improved:
Messages are correctly marked as read, chats open without issues, notifications are more reliable, and calls are more stable and end properly.
Android
Here, we focused on making Gem Space Android App easier to start conversations and improving overall app stability.
What’s new:
- A new Start Talking screen to quickly begin a chat.
- Easy contact adding from profiles and chats.
- A privacy settings tip and user search.
Fixes:
Navigation issues, sticker and media problems have been resolved. Calls are no longer accepted automatically and now work more reliably.
Web
In the web version, we improved contact management and the interface.
What’s improved:
- You can now choose custom backgrounds for individual chats.
- One-click contact adding.
- Clear privacy hints and an easier way to find users.
Fixes:
Messages are sorted correctly, authorization with Kazakhstan phone numbers has been fixed, text copying is cleaner, animations look smoother, and calls are more stable.
