Gem Soft Monthly Briefing — September 28, 2026: Gem Premium Is Live, 40 Mini-Apps, and the Full Q4 Roadmap

The September 28th briefing opened with a full review of Q3 2026 performance metrics. Daily active users finished the quarter with a slight 5.7% decline compared to Q2 — a natural correction following the explosive growth recorded in the second quarter. The Q4 target is to match and surpass Q2 numbers.

The more meaningful metrics all moved in the right direction. Messages per user continued to grow, reflecting users forming a genuine communication habit within the platform. Calls per user increased 1% in Q3. Application launches per user grew 11.2% — a strong signal that users are developing a daily pattern of returning to Gem Space. This behavioral foundation is exactly what a subscription monetization model depends on: loyal, habitually engaged users who have already decided the platform is part of their routine.

The install-to-registration conversion rate improved by nearly 20% in Q3 — a result of sustained work on the onboarding funnel throughout the year. The vast majority of users who install the application now proceed directly to registration and remain active. Marketing spend is converting with very little waste.

Mini-Apps: 40 Live, Categories Introduced, Developer Tools Improving

The mini-app ecosystem has continued its strong growth. Monthly active users of mini-apps increased 1.5 times in September compared to August. The platform now has 40 published mini-apps, with a 51% pass rate through the quality review process — meaning roughly half of all submitted apps meet publication standards on the first submission. Q4 development will focus on making the process smoother for developers, reducing the revision rate and helping more apps reach publication faster.

The September 29th release introduced significant improvements to the mini-app catalog. Categories and search functionality have been added, making it significantly easier for users to find the apps they want. A unified authorization system is now in place — developers no longer need to build separate authorization mechanisms, as everything runs through the Gem Space authentication layer seamlessly. Developers can also now enable sharing of content from within their mini-apps, allowing users to share reports, images, and other outputs to other applications or directly within Gem Space.

The four priority content categories for Q4 mini-app development remain: esotericism, finance, health, and psychology — with a specific focus on products designed for a female audience aged 25 to 54, the cohort identified as having the highest monetization potential.

On the user experience side, a popular section and a recently used section are being added to the catalog, making it easier for users to return to their favorites. A unified recommendation system is also being developed — the foundation on which future recommendation features across the feed, channel catalog, and spaces will be built.

Gem Premium: Live as of September 29th

Gem Premium launched on September 29th. The subscription is available on all platforms — iOS, Android, and web — with three payment providers, including options specifically for CIS country users.

The first phase of Gem Premium includes: calls with up to 1,000 participants and no time limits, improved call quality, voice message transcription, unlimited message pinning, online status management, control over incoming voice messages, no file size restrictions, unlimited guest access via link, webinar functionality, and a premium badge on the user profile.

A 7-day free trial is available on any plan, allowing users to experience the full premium feature set before committing to a subscription.

Q4 for Premium Roadmap

The Q4 roadmap for Premium features includes live animated avatars, disappearing messages, and the ability to read messages without marking them as seen.

One framing of the premium concept worth highlighting: where most premium messenger subscriptions focus on functional improvements useful only to some users — longer calls, higher video quality, more webinar participants — Gem Space Premium was designed around something different. It is built around privacy and control. The premium user decides who sees when they are online. They can read a message and take time to formulate a thoughtful response without the sender knowing it has been read. They can control who can send them voice and video messages. They can transcribe voice messages rather than listen to them — a significant quality-of-life improvement for users who receive long audio messages. Being connected does not mean being available to everyone at all times. Premium gives users genuine agency over their own communication environment.

Coming soon

Coming soon in subsequent phases: the ability to send messages in a chosen tone — business, friendly, apologetic, or assertive — selected after writing the message. Voice reading of incoming messages, allowing users to hear their messages aloud while driving or otherwise occupied. Animated avatars replacing static profile photos. Virtual backgrounds for video calls, with a range of environments including office, library, and beach. Streaming capability. All of these are planned for addition to the premium package over the coming months — at no additional cost to those who subscribe now.

The case for subscribing early was made directly at the conference: today’s price is the lowest it will be. Every feature added to Premium going forward will be available to existing subscribers at no extra charge. An annual subscription purchased now locks in the current rate for an entire year regardless of how much the package expands.

The PayGem Wallet

The PayGem wallet is now in place as the payment layer for Gem Premium. Users can purchase subscriptions for one month, six months, or twelve months. The next stage — adding funds to the wallet, paying from a wallet balance, and withdrawing earnings — will follow. Mini-app payment integration is coming in October, enabling developers to charge for products and services within their apps.

Monetization and Regional Sales: The Combined Effect

A question about whether monetization would increase interest in regional sales was addressed directly — and the answer was an unambiguous yes.

There is a meaningful difference between selling a country a secure messenger and selling a country a national messenger with full monetization infrastructure built in. An acquiring government or entity always needs to understand how its investment will recoup. A Gem Space deployment with premium accounts, in-app purchases, paid channels, mini-app commerce, and advertising built in provides exactly that answer. The acquiring entity can grow its user base, earn from the platform, and generate returns from the technology they have paid to deploy. This will significantly increase both the appeal of regional sales and the price point those sales can command.

B2B: Connection Intelligence and Webinar Chat Coming

On the B2B side, a range of improvements are underway.

Call connection indicators have been updated — users now see their connection status, internet quality, and overall call status. Sound notifications for connection events are being added, so users can be alerted to reconnection events or quality issues without needing to look at the screen. A sound notification when someone joins a call is also planned — particularly useful in group settings where a specific participant is awaited. A hand raise sound notification is coming, and the ability to drop a call during the connection phase — currently not possible — will be added shortly.

The login and authorization flow is being simplified. The current first screen presents users with a choice of servers. The new flow will ask only for an email address, then intelligently determine where the user should connect based on their login history and email domain. Users returning to a known system will be offered their previous login automatically. Manual entry remains available for closed networks. No user email data is transmitted to Gem Soft servers — everything is stored locally on the user’s device — ensuring full security for enterprise deployments.

Call history development is progressing. The feature includes search that surfaces not only contacts previously called but also relevant contacts not yet called — a deliberate retention mechanism encouraging new connections within the platform. Grouping by contact or by group call is supported, and the full history of a specific call thread is accessible from a single view.

The webinar chat feature — long anticipated for B2B — is in implementation. The back-end infrastructure and services are complete. The UI is being built. Once released, webinars will support live chat alongside the broadcast, allowing participants to communicate in text without disrupting the speaker. This closes one of the most frequently requested gaps in the webinar feature set.

On the cloud solution side, the list of supported payment providers is being expanded to cover additional regions. Company verification — checking registration status and sanctions compliance — is being implemented as a prerequisite for payment and subscription access in the cloud platform. Documentation has been fully released to production with a comprehensive quick-start guide and is now accessible from mobile devices.

IP Rights and Regional Sales: Structuring the Deal

An investor question about the status of regional sale negotiations received a direct answer: the team is currently in the process of structuring the deal, with the most sensitive point being intellectual property — specifically, what is transferred to the buyer and what is retained. This is a complex and delicate legal question that the team is working through carefully. Progress is being made, but this is where the current negotiation has reached its most intricate stage.

Class C Share Registry and License Renewal Withdrawal

On the Class C share certificate: all documentation has been prepared and submitted to the Mauritius regulator for approval, including a detailed package covering how license sales work and how dividends are generated. Approval is pending and will be communicated as soon as it arrives.

On the license renewal dividend withdrawal: the paperwork is being completed by the end of the week of September 28th, at which point withdrawal functionality will be opened to Class C shareholders.

Class D Shares and the Board’s Allocation Decision

A question was raised about the mathematics of Class D share conversion. With 500,000 Class D shares converting to 1 million Class A shares at exit, and approximately 1,312,000 Class A shares remaining as of August 31st — with September nearly complete — the numbers are tight.

The answer confirmed that the board of directors made a deliberate decision to allocate the 500,000 Class D shares from the board’s own share pool rather than from the main investor pool. This ensures the remaining Class A shares available for the project’s final phase are preserved intact. There is no dilution of the investor share pool from this conversion.

The Strategy in Summary: Small Steps, Cascading Effect

The strategic closing remarks offered a useful framing for the current phase. The concept presented is the cascading effect of correct decisions. One correct decision creates the conditions for a second, which enables a third. From the moment a correct decision is made to the moment its result becomes visible, time passes — sometimes quickly, sometimes at length. But if the pace of correct decisions is maintained with care and consistency, the cumulative effect compounds.

Complaining is not a strategy. Everything that has been built, everyone who works within the project, every result achieved — all of it has come from within the team’s own hands and effort. The world is evolving rapidly. Those who do not adapt will find themselves on the sidelines. The monetization concept, the AI agent roadmap, the continued development of both Gem Space and Gem Team — these are the daily steps being taken to ensure the platforms remain competitive, relevant, and valuable in the economic reality that is already forming around them.

The future is not uncertain for this project. The platform fits the future well. The confidence is earned.
